About The Position

This position is responsible for evaluating used tires as they are unloaded off trucks and reclassifying them into 4 different categories to determine viability. This position is labor intensive and requires speed, attention to detail, and stamina.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Have excellent attention to detail and be able to inspect with accuracy and speed.
• Be DEPENDABLE and have reliable transportation.
• Have steel toe boots.
• Background and Drug Screening: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Basic data entry knowledge (fill out electronic form)
• Minimum 2-Years warehouse experience
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs. at a time

Nice To Haves

• Forklift and Heavy Equipment experience preferred.
• Prior experience in the tire recycling or manufacturing industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and Unload TRUCK and Passenger tires from trailers.
• Cross dock tires from one trailer to the next.
• Discard junk tires onto conveyor for disposal.
• Determine the “grade” of a used tire.
• Separate the different graded tires and keep track of inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.
