About The Position
Certified Guaranty Company (CGC) is seeking world-class Cards Graders to join our Cards Team dedicated to expert and impartial sports cards and trading cards grading. Our card grading service from CGC uses world-class expertise, cutting-edge technology and operational excellence to join the other Certified Collectibles Group (CCG) companies in quickly becoming the leader in its category.
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of Trading Card required
- Expansive knowledge as it relates to card printing, including printing processes, variants, and errors
- 1 – 3 years of direct grading experience as a card grader or as a dealer/collector with extensive grading submission history
- Detail oriented with the ability to detect counterfeit and altered cards with a high level of accuracy
- Maintains the highest level of integrity
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills to achieve production goals and maximize productivity
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally as business needs arise
Responsibilities
- Researches, identifies, and authenticates collectible trading cards and sports cards
- Assesses the condition, quality and furthermore grades the item using established standards
- Meets established production goals while maintaining superior grading standards
- Entry of grading data into computer system
