About The Position
A General Arts Teacher at Gov. Wallace Rider Farrington High School in Honolulu, Hawaii, delivers foundational and advanced visual arts education within Hawaii Department of Education (HIDOE) standards. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (minimum qualification for teacher, librarian, or counselor positions, with exceptions for designated CTE positions).
- Must obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit upon hire.
- If hired without completing a Teacher's Education Program, must obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license within 3 years and enroll in a Program to continue employment.
- Must satisfactorily demonstrate active pursuit towards meeting Hawaii licensing requirements each year of employment.
- Ensure the enrolled program is aligned with the teaching line hired in.
