About The Position
The Halifax Elementary School (HES) is seeking qualified candidates for a Long Term Substitute grade 1 teacher (1.0 FTE) for an assignment expected to begin on or around early November 2026 and through the end of February 2026. This is a 1th grade teaching position at HES, a kindergarten - grade 6 school.
Requirements
- Be licensed to teach grade 1.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with other staff members.
- Be willing to take part in professional development and attend faculty meetings.
- Communicate with families.
- Seamlessly transition to the role in the absence of the primary educator.
