About The Position
This open competitive advertisement is for a Career Service position located in the Office of Administration’s Bureau of Contract-Operated Correctional Facilities. The purpose of this position is to serve as the primary liaison and subject matter expert for Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs within correctional institutions, ensuring effective communication, compliance, quality assurance, staff development, program evaluation, and resource management to optimize educational services for the inmate population. This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.
Requirements
- Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Must possess a minimum of two (2) years clerical experience to include proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.

Responsibilities
- Reviews, analyzes, and processes management payment and Privately Operated Institutions Inmate Welfare Trust Fund (IWTF) invoices monthly for designated correctional facilities to ensure contractual compliance and submits to Budget Manager for review.
- Reviews, analyzes, and compiles vacancy deductions from vacancy reports and position control documents for designated correctional facilities and submits to Bureau staff for review.
- Reviews, analyzes, and processes IWTF revenue reports monthly for designated correctional facilities to ensure contractual compliance.
- Serves as the coordinator for travel arrangements and processes travel reimbursement voucher forms for Bureau staff and the on-site contract monitors at designated correctional facilities in accordance with agency procedures.
- Serves as the backup for processing criminal history background checks.
- Performs related work as required by Budget Manager or Bureau Chief.
