About The Position

This is a professional position responsible for evaluating licensees to ensure regulatory requirements are met and maintained for licensing as a treatment center or testing lab.

Requirements

  • Proficient computer skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; knowledge of computer data bases; knowledge and use of the compliance management system and licensing system used by the Agency; knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures and government rules & regulations; knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar; understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents; communicating effectively with others in writing; talking-to others to effectively convey information; knowing how to find information and identifying essential information; observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources; providing information to supervisors, fellow workers, and subordinates.
  • Two years of professional experience, to include: reviewing documents for compliance, applying applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures through regulatory operational activities.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License, satisfactorily complete a background investigation, fingerprinting, and participation in direct deposit are requirements for employment.
  • Current authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
  • Ability to learn and communicate effectively, orally and in writing, in English.

  • An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field of study

Responsibilities

  • Perform all initial reviews of all assigned cases from treatment centers and testing labs to ensure the documentation provided is in compliance with departmental rules and statutory standards.
  • Identify any missing documentation and draft correspondence as needed.
  • Review incoming data and information in the electronic tracking system for accuracy and/or submit files for review to additional staff and supervisors as needed.
  • Create electronic case files for all requests and ensure all files are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Track all assigned cases in the OMMU electronic tracking system. This includes tracking when all documentation is sent or received and response dates.
  • Responsible for the organization of all requests in the file folder system.
  • Complete assignments in support of management and staff as directed.
  • Responsible for generating and analyzing reports as assigned and promptly completing action steps.
  • Assist with developing guidelines and tools necessary to carry out the review process.
  • Other duties as assigned.
