About The Position

Sazerac Company is seeking a Government Compliance Coordinator to manage inventory records in their Bonded Case Goods Warehouse, ensure records support on-hand amounts, prepare documents for wire transfer and EFT payments on imports, collaborate with the Processing Department for timely unloading of bulk products and adherence to US customs regulations, distribute petty cash, act as a company Notary, and receive documents for imported bulk and case goods shipments. This role is crucial for US TTB compliance at manufacturing facilities and involves system design and implementation, continuous communication of company culture, and team member development.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or ged equivalent
  • Strong computer skills and high comfort using technology and systems
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • 1 year experience working with external/internal auditors
  • 2 years successful work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of import/export processes/regulations (fda, us customs)
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or relevant experience
  • Experience in alcohol beverage industry or cpg overall
  • 1 year experience in a compliance related field such as ttb, customs, irs, auditing

Responsibilities

  • Account for all inventory in our Bonded Case Goods Warehouse
  • Ensure that records support all amounts on hand
  • Prepare documents for wire transfer and EFT payments on imports
  • Work with Processing Department to ensure timely unloading of bulk products and adherence to US customs regulations
  • Distribute petty cash as needed
  • Act as Notary for the company
  • Receive the documents for both imported bulk and case goods shipments
  • PDS system design and implementation
  • Active PDS evaluation for each team member with regular feedback sessions
  • Overall grid rating for each team member
  • 360 degree feedback program
