About The Position

The Wilkinson Firm (TWF) is seeking experienced GovCon Teaming Connectors (Finder's Fee Contract) to leverage their existing networks within federal contracting primes. The goal is to facilitate teaming relationships between TWF, an MBE-certified company with HR Advisory and PHES delivery capacity, and federal primes who need MBE-eligible subcontractors to meet diversity goals. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in federal contracting capture or business development, and an active network with prime contractors. The position offers a clear career progression with increasing finder's fees based on successful teaming agreements and contract awards.

Requirements

  • Background in federal contracting capture or prime BD.
  • Active network with prime BD/capture leadership (e.g., Booz Allen, Leidos, SAIC, BAH, ManTech, mid-size primes).
  • Familiarity with NAICS workforce categories, MBE set-aside math, and 8(a) pass-through.
  • Has closed at least 2 teaming agreements that resulted in awards.
  • Ability to provide warm introductions to capture leaders within 60 days.
  • Must not be a generalist BD professional without a specific federal network.
  • Must not rely on cold-emailing without warm-intro capacity.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior role at a federal prime in capture, BD, or partnership leadership.
  • MBE-specific networks (MBDA, NMSDC, regional MBE councils).

Responsibilities

  • Introduce TWF to federal primes pursuing relevant workforce, BH, or hospitality contracts.
  • Position the introduction with substance, including prime mandate, NAICS codes, and anticipated set-aside.
  • Coordinate warm hand-offs to TWF Director of RFP Pursuits and leadership.
  • Track introductions through teaming agreement, proposal submission, and award.
