About The Position

Arcetyp LLC is seeking a GovCon Contracts Administrator with CFCM or CPCM Certification to support a client. This role is responsible for the end-to-end administration, compliance, and lifecycle management of federal contracts and related agreements. The position serves as a critical control point between program operations, finance, legal, and executive leadership. This is an on-site, in-office position located in Bethesda, Maryland, with one day of teleworking allowed.

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years or more experience in US Government contracting in roles as a contracts administrator.
  • Experience supporting a large volume of contract administration activities.
  • CFCM (Certified Federal Contract Manager) or CPCM (Certified Professional Contract Manager) designations from the National Contract Management Association (NCMA).
  • U.S Citizenship.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the review, negotiation, execution, and modification of prime contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, CTAs, and teaming agreements across multiple contract types (FFP, T&M, LH, Cost-Plus), ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, agency supplements, and company policies.
  • Support proposal development by reviewing Sections L and M, advising on contract risk, flow-down requirements, and compliance matrices, and coordinating representations and certifications.
  • Oversee contract interpretation, change management, and modification tracking.
  • Monitor deliverables, funding, period of performance, CLIN/SLIN structures, and option exercises.
  • Serve as the primary interface for contractual communications with Government Contracting Officers and subcontractor counterparts.
  • Support subcontract administration, including issuance of subcontracts, review of invoices and rate compliance, maintenance of small business and mandatory flow-downs, and resolution of contractual issues or disputes.
  • Maintain contract files in accordance with audit and record-retention standards.
  • Support internal and external audits (e.g., DCAA, DCMA).
  • Assist with claims or REAs.
  • Provide contractual guidance to program managers to minimize risk and ensure performance aligned with contract terms.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced federal contracting environment.
  • Proactively identify compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies that protect the company’s legal, financial, and reputational interests.
