About The Position

Kiloverse is seeking a Google Channel Lead to build and scale Google into a significant growth engine for its new and emerging brands. This is a build role focused on leveraging algorithms, signals, and measurement to optimize the Google channel, making it a primary acquisition channel alongside Meta. The role involves end-to-end ownership of the channel across multiple brands, establishing technical and strategic foundations, increasing spend in Demand Gen, PMax, and YouTube, and building and leading a team. The position offers the opportunity to shape Google strategy across the wider Kilo group.

Requirements

  • Proven track record building and scaling Google as a major acquisition channel, with depth across Search and Demand Gen / PMax / YouTube.
  • Deep technical fluency in Google's algorithms, bidding, signals, and attribution, sufficient to define measurement requirements and collaborate with a dedicated tracking team.
  • Strong people management skills, with experience building, hiring into, and leading performance teams (2+ years of people management).
  • 6+ years in performance/growth marketing with deep, current Google expertise.
  • E-commerce / DTC demand-generation experience and understanding of scaling acquisition for subscription and e-commerce business models.
  • Ability to drive complex initiatives to a successful conclusion and manage stakeholders across functions and seniority levels.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving change in a matrixed, portfolio-style organization.
  • Data-literate: fluent in attribution models, campaign analytics, and incrementality testing.

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale the Google channel across a portfolio of new and emerging brands, owning the strategy and roadmap from tracking foundations to demand-gen scaling.
  • Drive the Google channel to become a primary acquisition source.
  • Lead, hire, and grow the team, managing and mentoring specialists, setting standards, sharing best practices, and owning performance.
  • Set the channel's measurement requirements and partner with the tracking team to define necessary conversions, signals, and account structures.
  • Ensure the Google setup feeds algorithms with necessary data, collaborating with the tech team on server-side tagging, offline conversion uploads, consent management, and Ads Data Hub.
  • Scale Demand Gen, PMax, and YouTube as performance channels with ROAS and incrementality discipline, while maintaining Search as a baseline.
  • Partner with brand CEOs, Marketing Managers, Creative Leads, and Tech Developers to design scalable, high-performing account structures.
  • Own the Google partner relationship, representing Kilo, extracting best practices, securing early access and innovation, pursuing co-funding/support, and driving adoption across the group.
  • Stay hands-on for high-stakes technical and strategic problem-solving.
