About The Position

Ruby Labs is a fast-growing consumer AI company that provides millions of users with access to leading AI models (chat, image, and video generation) through a single subscription. The company operates one of the largest Google Ads accounts globally, alongside a significant Microsoft Ads presence, across more than 40 countries and 30 languages. This role is AI-first, meaning campaigns are researched, built, and optimized with AI agents (Claude), guided by a human expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end performance of the Google Ads account, including structure, keywords, ads, bids, compliance, and growth, utilizing Claude as a daily co-pilot for various tasks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years managing large, international Google Ads search accounts.
  • Expertise in using Anthropic's Claude models and products daily, with an understanding of the AI tools market as a practitioner.
  • Strong AI skills, including comfort with AI assistants and agent-based workflows, viewing AI as a force multiplier.
  • Very solid understanding of Google compliance, including trademark policy, ad review, and account-level enforcement, with experience in recovering from restrictions.
  • Data-driven decision-making ability, comfortable with revenue metrics, CPA/ROAS economics, and payback analysis.
  • Structured, high-agency operator: ability to propose with evidence, move fast, execute carefully, and document thoroughly.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Ads (Bing) experience.
  • Experience managing Google Ads for AI products.
  • Background in subscription or consumer product acquisition.
  • Basic technical skills, such as being a spreadsheet power user, or having some SQL or scripting knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Scale profitable spend across countries, products, and devices; identify and launch untapped markets; manage budgets and targets against real revenue and payback goals.
  • Build and maintain large-scale keyword systems, including discovering new opportunities, validating demand, organizing keywords into clusters, and ensuring coverage for new AI model releases.
  • Maintain high ad quality across the account, ensuring ads align with search queries, achieve strong Ad Strength scores, and are well-localized in over 30 languages.
  • Design and maintain a clean, scalable account structure with well-themed ad groups, sensible country tiers, no dead or duplicated inventory, and consistent naming across a large campaign portfolio.
  • Apply solid working knowledge of Google Ads policies, including trademark rules, misleading-claims policy, and prevention/appeal of account restrictions like Limited Ad Serving.
  • Set and adjust CPA/ROAS targets based on real revenue data per country and device, rather than intuition.
  • Utilize Claude and AI workflows daily for keyword research, ad copy generation and review, account auditing, and automation of repetitive tasks.
  • Track performance accurately, allowing for data maturation before assessment, identify issues proactively, and determine root causes for performance changes.
