About The Position
The Golf Shop Assistant handles day-to-day golf shop operations at Jonathan's Landing — from tee time reservations and check-ins to point-of-sale transactions and retail merchandising. This is a great fit for someone detail-oriented, guest-focused, and comfortable keeping pace in a busy pro shop.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in sales or customer service; club experience preferred
- Available to work weekends and holidays, and 7am–3pm or 9am–5pm shifts
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, guest-first attitude
- Able to stay calm and positive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Able to stand, reach, bend, stoop, lift and/or move up to 15 pounds

- club experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Process point-of-sale transactions and manage tee time and lesson reservations
- Check in members and guests, and collect and record payments (member charges and credit card transactions) per club procedures
- Reconcile POS with daily sales reports at shift change
- Maintain records of daily play and other data as directed
- Advise members and guests on club policies and procedures
- Promote department offerings and keep members/guests informed of available services and programs
Benefits
- $17–$20/hour, based on experience
- Up to 40 hours per week
- Flexible start/end dates, ideally mid-October through April
