About The Position

TPC River Highlands is a private golf club located in Cromwell, Connecticut, just outside of Hartford. As the proud host of the PGA TOUR’s Travelers Championship—the state’s largest professional sporting event—it stands as one of the premier destinations in the TPC Network. Alongside its championship golf course, the clubhouse offers an exceptional setting for events of all kinds, with scenic views, multiple event spaces, and two full-service kitchens. The Course Advisor plays a key role in creating an exceptional golf experience by providing outstanding on-course service to members and guests. This position helps maintain pace of play, offers course assistance and information, and serves as a visible, friendly ambassador of the Club throughout the round.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Customer service experience preferred
Basic knowledge of the game of golf preferred
Friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication skills
Availability to work weekdays based on business needs

Nice To Haves

golf, country club, or hospitality experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional service and support to members, guests, and PGA TOUR players throughout their round
Monitor pace of play and courteously encourage groups to maintain an enjoyable pace
Greet golfers and offer course information, directions, and assistance as needed
Communicate safety or emergency information clearly and professionally when necessary
Serve as a positive ambassador for the Club by promoting exceptional hospitality and PGA TOUR service standards
Assist with on-course operations, special projects, and other duties as assigned
