About The Position

The Golf Marshal position at Lincoln Hills Golf Club is responsible for ensuring a positive and efficient experience for golfers. This role involves educating guests on course conditions and policies, maintaining communication with various club departments, monitoring player progress, and enforcing safety and equipment guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a good understanding of golf, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Requirements

Possess excellent verbal communication and people relations skills
Must possess strong customer service skills and remain calm and work effectively in stressful situations
Must possess a general understanding of pace of play, golf terminology and rules
Able to remain in stationary position for minimum of two hours

Responsibilities

Greets each guest and educates them on course conditions, course rules and policies, and pace of play
Maintains communications from the first tee with golf shop, cart staff and ranger
Monitors first tee, tee off times, turn times and finish times; reporting irregularities and misuse of equipment and property
Ensures equipment is stored properly and safety practices are enforced
