Under the general supervision of the Superintendent of Golf Grounds, Assistant Superintendent, or Golf Specialist, the Golf Maintenance II position is responsible for routine maintenance work and mowing involved in the care and upkeep of the golf course and clubhouse grounds. This includes maintaining golf course areas, sand bunkers, and ornamental beds, shrubs, and trees, operating and maintaining golf course mowers, small maintenance vehicles, and power equipment, collecting garbage, litter pickup, and cleaning bathroom facilities, and providing support to special projects. The role also involves performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and demonstrating support for District customer service standards.
