About The Position

Mow and maintain greens, tees, fairways, and roughs to established standards. Perform daily course setup, including changing cups and tee markers. Rake and maintain bunkers, repair divots and ball marks. Operate and maintain golf course equipment safely and efficiently. Operate specialized equipment, including gang units, turf vacuums, sweepers, loaders, topdressers, aerifiers, and sprayers (if applicable). Operate smaller equipment as trained and directed by the superintendent. Monitor turf conditions and report issues such as pests, disease, or damage. Inspect equipment daily, including checking fuel, oil, and cooling systems. Clean equipment daily and report mechanical issues or malfunctions promptly to the Equipment Manager. Perform basic preventative maintenance as directed. Return equipment to designated maintenance areas after use. Maintain cleanliness and overall appearance of the course. Support course improvement projects and seasonal maintenance. Follow all Company's policies, procedures, and safety standards. Complete additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Knowledge of safe and efficient operation of tractors and motorized equipment.
  • Understanding of golf course operations and how course conditions affect playability.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements such as bending, lifting, twisting, and climbing
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including heat, sun, and rain.
  • May be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals.
