About The Position

The Golf Course Maintenance Laborer performs routine manual tasks to maintain the golf course's quality and appearance. The work includes mowing greens, tees, and collars; raking and maintaining sand bunkers; and edging cart paths, bunkers, sprinkler heads, and drains to help provide a clean and safe environment for players. The role also operates light equipment to haul materials and remove debris. In addition, the employee assists with constructing new greens, tees, and fairways through grading, soil preparation, and planting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated experience providing excellent customer service.
• Familiarity with operating light equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and utility vehicles.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong relational skills, including effective communication and relationship-building with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail.
• Ability to provide attentive customer service, listen to customer needs, and address concerns promptly and courteously.
• Resourcefulness, including proactively finding solutions, using resources efficiently, and adapting to changing circumstances.
• Ability to perform the physical demands described: standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, bending, kneeling, frequently using arms and hands, and carrying up to 20 pounds.
• Manual dexterity for using golf equipment.
• Clear vision and hearing to communicate effectively.
