About The Position

Champions Retreat Golf Club is seeking energetic, highly motivated, and dependable candidates for full-time positions in Golf Course Maintenance. This role involves operating specialized equipment to perform specific tasks related to golf course maintenance, with potential for progressive advancement. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors in various weather conditions, has a positive attitude, and is a team player. Champions Retreat is a private golf club located near Augusta, Georgia, featuring a 27-hole course designed by golf legends.

Requirements

• Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
• Must be able to work some weekends and holidays, overtime, and be flexible with changes as requested.
• Ability to work outdoors for long periods of time in varying weather conditions with potential exposure to inclement weather.
• Ability to perform heavy physical labor.
• May be required to work in an environment that includes such activities as bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, climbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting.
• May need to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally and up to 50 lbs. frequently.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of landscape maintenance or greenkeeping preferred.
• Experience in the industry is a plus but not necessary to obtain employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions and routine golf course maintenance related activities at one work location.
• Assist in ensuring the maintenance facility, equipment and tools are clean, organized, and safe and report any deficiencies to management.
• Participate in training related to proper equipment operation and safety procedures required to perform each task.
