Golf Course Maintenance Greenskeeper
About The Position
Urbana Country Club is seeking 2-3 individuals for seasonal Golf Course Maintenance Greenskeeper positions. This role involves walk-mowing greens, tees, and collars, as well as rolling greens and raking bunkers. We are a brand new golf course that opened in May 2025 and completed a 10 million dollar renovation project which included all new greens, tees and fairways, new bunkers with a premium sand and liner, and a 2.7 million dollar irrigation system. We are looking for individuals who can work in inclement weather conditions and are flexible with scheduling. Work is available from now through November 1st, and will resume in March 2027. We offer priority hiring for 2027 to quality employees from this season and promote from within whenever possible. We also have one part-time retiree position available for mowing fairways.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions
- Valid Drivers License
- Must be able to work one weekend shift from 6:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M on Saturday or Sunday on most weekends
- Must be able to pass a 10 panel drug screen and background check
- Flexibility for scheduling and hours
- Minimum of 10 hours a week is required
