Golf Course Maintenance Greenskeeper
About The Position
Urbana Country Club completed a 10 million dollar renovation project which included all new greens, tees and fairways, new bunkers with a premium sand and liner, and a 2.7 million dollar irrigation system. We are looking for 2 or 3 individuals to help with Walkmowing Greens, Tees and Collars in addition to roll greens or raking bunkers. Key mow days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday with a day of a weekend. Work is available now through the First of November and returning in March or 2027. College students and candidates looking for part time work- we are flexible with hours and work times, but a minimum of 10 hours a week is required. We also have one slot for a part ime retiree type position mowing Fairways from 6-11 Monday- Wednesday-Friday
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions
- Valid Drivers License
- Must be able to work one weekend shift from 6:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M on Saturday or Sunday on most weekends
- Must be able to pass a 10 panel drug screen and background check
- Minimum of 10 hours a week is required
