About The Position

Glynlea Country Club is looking for a Golf Course Maintenance Associate to join their team and help care for one of the area’s premier golf courses. In this role, you will assist with daily course and grounds maintenance, operate small equipment, and help ensure the property remains clean, safe, and enjoyable for members and guests. Requirements

Two years of golf course maintenance experience OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Good organizational and verbal skills.
Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues.
Ability to perform basic mathematical skills, monitors and develops subordinates, visually monitor the operation areas, write and read member communication.
Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 80 lbs., up to 40 lbs. frequently and up to 20 lbs. constantly.
Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 4 hours without sitting.
Ability to consistently lift, carry and load adaptive and other equipment that may weigh 30 or more pounds, and sustain aerobic activity for 20 consecutive minutes.

Responsibilities

Keeps all equipment in good, clean working condition.
Maintains a clean golf course and maintenance complex.
Reports all problems regarding equipment to the Mechanic and or Assistant Superintendent.
Completes duties as directed by supervisor in a timely manner.
Demonstrates courtesy to all Members and Guests at all times.
Obeys all safety procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
