About The Position
The Golf Cashier is responsible for opening and closing the Golf Shop for daily business and play. This role involves connecting with guests, answering phones, booking tee times and cruiser rentals, selling merchandise, and maintaining the neatness of the Golf Shop. The position also assists in tournament play and handles guest requests, working with management as needed.
Requirements
- Physical, mental, and emotional stamina to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
- Long hours/shifts often required
- Valid driver's license is required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hospitality or hotel/previous golf experience preferred
- Service and Pro-Active attitude preferred
Responsibilities
- Open and close the Golf Shop for daily business/play
- Connect with guests, whether they are golfing, renting a cruiser cart, or inquiring about other resort areas
- Answer the phone
- Make tee-times
- Book daily rentals on cruisers
- Sell merchandise
- Keep the Golf Shop neat and tidy
- Assist in tournament play
- Take care of golfing guests' requests
- Work with management for any other requests pertaining to the job
