About The Position

The Golf Pro Shop Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests while handling retail sales, tee time check-ins, and general pro shop operations. This role supports the golf team by ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for all golfers.

Requirements

• Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of golf is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and computer skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
• Ability to work indoors and occasionally outdoors in varying weather conditions

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of golf is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide a friendly, welcoming environment
• Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems
• Check in golfers for tee times and assist with reservations
• Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries about golf services, rates, and merchandise
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pro shop
• Restock merchandise and assist with inventory management
• Promote golf merchandise, apparel, and resort offerings
• Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment responsibly
• Work closely with Golf Pros and starters to ensure smooth daily operations
• Follow all resort policies and procedures
