About The Position
The Golf Pro Shop Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests while handling retail sales, tee time check-ins, and general pro shop operations. This role supports the golf team by ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for all golfers.
Requirements
- Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of golf is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and computer skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide a friendly, welcoming environment
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems
- Check in golfers for tee times and assist with reservations
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries about golf services, rates, and merchandise
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pro shop
- Restock merchandise and assist with inventory management
- Promote golf merchandise, apparel, and resort offerings
- Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment responsibly
- Work closely with Golf Pros and starters to ensure smooth daily operations
- Follow all resort policies and procedures
