Experienced Goldsmith / Bench Jeweler – Jewelry Repair & Stone Setting
About The Position
Scottsdale Fine Jewelers is looking for an experienced Goldsmith / Bench Jeweler to join our in-house jewelry repair and production team in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is not an entry-level training position. We are seeking a skilled, dependable jeweler who can step into a professional shop environment and contribute from day one. The right candidate will be confident working with silver, gold, white gold, yellow gold, rose gold, and platinum, and capable of performing high-quality jewelry repair, sizing, stone setting, and finishing work in a team-based environment. Requirements
- Hands-on professional experience as a Goldsmith, Bench Jeweler, Jewelry Repair Specialist, Stone Setter, Jeweler, Platinumsmith, or Jewelry Technician
- Competence in ring sizing
- Competence in stone setting
- Competence in soldering
- Competence in platinum work
- Competence in gold and silver repair
- Competence in prong repair and retipping
- Competence in polishing and finishing
- Competence in jewelry restoration
- Basic custom jewelry support
- Working safely and accurately with customer-owned merchandise
- Experienced, reliable, and ready to contribute immediately
- Detail-oriented and careful with customer jewelry
- Comfortable working in a busy professional jewelry shop
- Able to follow systems, standards, and production expectations
- Honest, organized, and accountable
- A good communicator
- Respectful of coworkers and comfortable working as part of a team

Responsibilities
- Performing a variety of jewelry repair, sizing, setting, and finishing work
- Ring sizing in silver, gold, and platinum
- Soldering, laser welding, and general jewelry repair
- Stone setting, including diamonds and colored gemstones
- Prong repair, retipping, rebuilding, and tightening stones
- Chain repair, clasp replacement, jump rings, and solder work
- Polishing, refinishing, cleaning, and quality control
- Working on customer-owned jewelry with care, accuracy, and accountability
- Communicating clearly with team members, sales associates, and production leadership
- Managing repair work efficiently while maintaining high standards
- Supporting a positive, professional, team-oriented shop environment
