About The Position

Syngenta Seeds is seeking a Golden Harvest Sales Representative for the Central Nebraska territory, including Valley, Greely, Sherman, Howard, Buffalo, and Hall counties. The representative supports Syngenta’s mission of safely feeding the world and caring for the planet by offering farmers access to a broad portfolio of seed hybrids and solutions. The role develops reseller and Seed Advisor relationships, builds customer demand, and grows territory sales through consultative selling and territory-level business planning. The candidate must live in the territory.

Requirements

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, or a degree in a non-agriculture discipline with significant farming industry background, or commensurate experience.
At least 2 years of sales or sales leadership experience.
Ability to work independently on a virtual team.
Strong customer focus and demonstrated sales and negotiation skills.
Must live in the territory.

Agricultural sales experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide access to Syngenta’s broad and diverse portfolio of hybrids.
Recruit, develop, and manage a team of professional resellers.
Use consultative selling, recognized expertise, and customer trust to support sales.
Deliver plans and offers to targeted customers through selected channel partners.
Create customer-level demand by building product knowledge and interest in Syngenta solutions.
Coach Seed Advisors on product placement to improve customer satisfaction.
Manage the operational budget, variable selling expenses, and marketing funds within district guidelines.
Develop territory-level business plans and Seed Advisor business plans that identify opportunities, must-wins, and tactics to grow territory sales.
