About The Position

Silvus is seeking a highly motivated Go-To-Market (GTM) Product Manager to drive commercial adoption and revenue growth for our complete tactical communications, Electronic Warfare (EW), Spectrum Dominance, Integrated Solutions, and Accessories portfolios. This position will report to the Director of Product Management on the Product team. The successful individual in this role serves as the central commercial engine for all four product categories (EW & Sensing, Network Software & Spectrum Dominance, Radio Hardware & Integrated Solutions, and Accessories & Services). This role connects cross-functionally across all product lines to define pricing strategy, product packaging, software feature tiering, competitive positioning, and market intelligence. The role requires up to 50% of travel for customer meetings. This position is located at Silvus Technologies’ Engineering and R&D Office in Irvine, CA, near the vibrant Irvine Spectrum and is on a hybrid schedule, with one day reporting to our West Los Angeles HQ. On-site days are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays at our Irvine office and Thursdays at our West Los Angeles HQ.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, RF Engineering, or a highly related technical/business discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in go-to-market management, pricing strategy, business development, or product management within the defense, aerospace, or wireless communications industries.
  • Proven track record of designing software packaging structures, defining pricing matrices, analyzing margins, and coordinating commercial readiness for hardware and software product launches.
  • Proven track record of influencing cross-functional engineering, operations, and sales teams without direct authority to meet rigid release dates.
  • Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
  • All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of wireless communications, Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs), RF systems, software-defined radios (SDRs), or electromagnetic spectrum operations.
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition cycles, federal program capture dynamics, and government contracting pricing strategies.
  • Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or an engineering/technical discipline.
  • Familiarity with tracking project metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Define pricing structures, software licensing models, and software feature tiering strategies across all core radio and waveforms segments to maximize product adoption and recurring software revenue.
  • Partner directly with strategic Product Line Managers (PLMs) to drive overall product profitability by optimizing Bill of Materials (BOM) cost targets, establishing margin profiles, and analyzing pricing-cost trade-offs.
  • Partner with Sales, Business Development, and Applications Engineering on high-impact customer engagements. Create commercial assets, win/loss analyses, and sales training tools to unblock sales pipelines.
  • Synthesize customer and field feedback into commercial insights. Establish structured win/loss tracking mechanisms to continuously refine monetization strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional commercialization activities across the entire portfolio, ensuring Sales, Applications Engineering, Technical Marketing Engineering (TME), Marketing, and Support are fully aligned and prepared for successful product launches.
  • Lead the development of standardized commercial launch readiness checklists, business case templates, and win/loss tracking framework and tool.
  • Regularly measure and report on key product performance indicators, including customer adoption, commercial pipeline velocity, pricing effectiveness, and overall market success to recommend business improvements.
  • Develop and maintain a complete competitive landscape. Actively monitor competitors, defense program requirements, market trends, and adjacent commercial/tactical opportunities to identify growth areas and guide portfolio strategy.
  • Collaborate with TPMs to drive product adoption and accelerate revenue growth for the products.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to customer meetings.
