Go-to-Market Lead

Emora HealthNew York, NY

About The Position

Emora Health is addressing the critical gap in unmet mental health needs for children and teens in America. With Series A funding and rapid scaling, the company is expanding its reach through new markets, partnerships, and a growing team. This role is central to Emora's mission of closing the gap in youth mental health support, which often emerges before age 24. This is a unique opportunity to establish a national growth function from its inception within a dynamic and well-funded organization dedicated to a vital cause. The Go-to-Market (GTM) Lead will be responsible for building Emora's growth engine, establishing a nationwide sales and partnerships organization. This role involves creating connections with pediatricians, health systems, schools, and community organizations to facilitate referrals. It is a leadership position focused on building a category-defining presence, not merely maintaining existing operations. The GTM Lead will architect Emora's non-paid growth strategy, leveraging sales, relationships, and on-the-ground efforts rather than marketing budgets. Key responsibilities include building and leading a team with aggressive targets, rapidly testing and launching new channels, and serving as the primary point person for expansion into new and existing markets across the country.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of experience spanning management consulting, banking or investing, and/or an early operating role (Growth, GTM, Sales) at a high-growth startup
  • A proven sales or GTM leader with a track record of building and scaling teams from the ground up, ideally in healthcare, technology, or another field-sales-driven industry
  • Experienced managing and coaching a team against ambitious, quota-driven targets — and consistently exceeding them
  • A builder at heart: energized by ambiguity, comfortable creating structure and process where none exists yet
  • A magnetic, credible communicator who can walk into a pediatrician's office or a health system boardroom and earn trust immediately
  • Data-driven — you build pipelines and forecasts you trust, and you make fast decisions based on what the numbers tell you
  • Deeply mission-driven — genuinely energized by expanding access to mental health care for kids, teens, and families
  • Excited to be an early, senior leader at a fast-growing venture-backed company — and to help shape not just a channel, but a category

Responsibilities

  • Field sales to pediatricians and health systems — building and scaling regional teams that create trusted, high-volume referral relationships in every market we operate in
  • Broader organizational channels — schools, community organizations, digital mediums, and other partners who reach families every day
  • The channel strategy itself — rapidly testing new go-to-market motions, doubling down on what works, and killing what doesn't
  • A high-performing, high-accountability team culture — hiring, coaching, and holding an ambitious team to ambitious numbers
  • Emora's presence and reputation in the field — you'll be a trusted, well-spoken face of the company as we grow into the nation's most trusted network for family behavioral health
  • Design and stand up Emora's field GTM strategy from the ground up — team structure, territory design, targets, and playbook
  • Recruit, hire, and lead a team of regional sales and partnership professionals across our markets, setting an ambitious bar for performance and culture
  • Build and manage a national pipeline of pediatric practices, health systems, schools, universities, and community organizations
  • Personally launch new markets and prove new channels before scaling them across the team
  • Set and own aggressive, measurable growth targets tied to referrals, admissions, and partner acquisition — and build the systems to track and hit them
  • Test new non-paid growth channels quickly — run tight experiments, learn fast, and scale what's working
  • Represent Emora Health at conferences, community events, and in direct meetings with providers and health system leaders — as a credible, energizing spokesperson for our mission
  • Partner closely with clinical, operations, and executive leadership to ensure the field organization is set up to deliver an exceptional partner and patient experience
  • Build the reporting, forecasting, and pipeline infrastructure that lets Emora scale this motion with precision as we grow
