Courtesy Chevrolet is seeking a skilled GM Transmission Technician to join our service team. We are looking for a motivated professional who takes pride in diagnosing and repairing complex transmission concerns while delivering quality workmanship and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Previous experience as an Automotive or Transmission Technician required.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to operate scan tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop machinery.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

GM dealership experience preferred.
ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace automatic and manual transmissions on GM vehicles.
Perform advanced drivability and transmission diagnostics using manufacturer-specific tools and equipment.
Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs according to GM standards.
Test-drive vehicles and verify repairs.
Accurately document diagnostic findings, repair procedures, and labor operations.
Maintain productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
Keep work area clean and follow all safety procedures.
