Requirements

Valid General Motors Certified Transmission Technician certification.
Proven experience with transmission repair and diagnostics, preferably on GM vehicles.
Strong understanding of automotive technology and mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
Flexibility to adapt to training and certification updates as required.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and rebuild a variety of transmission systems, primarily focused on General Motors vehicles.
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and adjustments to transmissions and related components.
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot transmission issues accurately.
Maintain detailed service records and reports for each vehicle serviced.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and industry regulations.
Collaborate with the service team to provide excellent customer service and support.
Stay current with GM technology through ongoing training and certification updates.
