About The Position
Pony Express Chevrolet-Buick is seeking a skilled GM Service Technician to join our team in Gothenburg, NE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, with a focus on General Motors vehicles. This role offers competitive compensation of $50,000 yearly, paid bi-weekly plus aggressive performance-based commissions and an opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive service technician, preferably with GM vehicles.
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and service bulletins.
- High school diploma or equivalent; automotive certifications are a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- ASE Certification(s)
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on GM vehicles efficiently and accurately.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols to ensure high-quality service.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended services.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and GM technology advancements.
