About The Position

This role focuses on leading and developing teams, driving financial performance, and ensuring operational excellence within a designated store area. The GM Coach is responsible for fostering a positive work environment, upholding company values, and delivering exceptional customer service. This position involves supervising and developing hourly associates, managing budgets and expenses, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Key responsibilities include leading and developing teams through training and feedback, driving financial performance by managing P&L statements and controlling expenses, and providing supervision and development opportunities for associates. Requirements

  • 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
  • Successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
  • Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, merchandising, and company direction.
  • Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing P&L statements and managing expenses.
  • Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Creates a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected through a culture of belonging.
  • Attracts and retains the best talent, empowers and develops talent, and recognizes others' contributions and accomplishments.
