About The Position

This position is responsible for leading and developing teams, driving financial performance, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience. The role involves supervising and developing hourly associates, coordinating job-related activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and values. Requirements

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing

Responsibilities

  • Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
  • Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, merchandising, and company direction.
  • Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing Profit Loss statements and managing expenses.
  • Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Builds high-performing teams and creates a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected through a culture of belonging.
  • Attracts and retains the best talent, empowers and develops talent, and recognizes others' contributions and accomplishments.
  • Maintains and promotes the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance.
  • Delivers results while putting the customer first and applying the EDLP and EDLC business models.
  • Makes decisions based on data, insights, and analysis, balancing short and long-term priorities.
