About The Position

All Star Chevrolet North is seeking GM Certified Technicians to join its high-volume service team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The role offers annual earning potential of $65,000–$130,000, including production bonuses and a yearly retention bonus, with a sign-on bonus available for highly qualified technicians. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and 2–5+ years of automotive technician experience. Manufacturer experience is preferred. Candidates must also pass pre-employment background, motor vehicle record, and drug testing.

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with quality and dealership standards.
Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning systems.
Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional service needs so customers can be informed.
Estimate the time needed for additional repairs.
Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
