About The Position

Chemours is seeking a Global Technology Manager for their Melt processable fluoropolymer team to join their growing Advanced Performance Materials (APM) business. This leadership role reports directly to the Global Technology Director of Advanced Performance Materials and is based at the Chemours Discovery Hub in Newark, DE. The role requires close collaboration with global strategic growth, commercial, marketing, and manufacturing resources to align innovation efforts with customer and market needs. Chemours' Advanced Performance Materials business develops high-performance materials that enable critical technologies across semiconductor manufacturing, AI infrastructure, high-performance computing, advanced communications, transportation, energy, and industrial markets. The fluoropolymer technologies are enabling some of the fastest-growing segments globally, including semiconductor chip manufacturing and advanced packaging, next-generation wire, cable, and interconnect solutions for high-speed, high-frequency communications and data infrastructure, AI and hyperscale data center technologies, ultra-high-purity or harsh chemical fluid handling systems, and transportation, aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial technologies. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the global technical team collaborating with customers and value chain partners to drive technology development at the forefront of these industry transformations, as well as supporting existing applications and product portfolio. The Global Technology Manager will lead a global team of scientists and engineers responsible for solving challenges faced by incumbent materials. This includes coordinating program activities and resourcing, guiding development and prioritization, and overseeing global R&D, technical service, prototyping, testing, and application development laboratories in America, Europe, and China. The role also interacts with strategic customers and value chain partners to identify and drive adoption of new materials.
