The Global Supply Manager, Networking role is dedicated and strategic, overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain and procurement operation. This position is critical for driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high quality within supply chain management, directly contributing to the overall success of Crusoe's Industries manufacturing services. Crusoe is looking for an innovative leader who combines strategic thinking with operational excellence, bringing a strong background in procurement, supplier relationship management, and process improvement. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work schedule based in San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; Denver, CO or Dallas, TX.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
  • Approximately 5-15 years of experience in a supply chain or procurement leadership role, preferably within the energy sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chains, ensuring vendor compliance, and implementing process improvements.
  • Strong contract negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Proven experience in Strategic Sourcing activities such as RFPs, RFQs, Supplier Selection, and Risk Management.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, with the ability to navigate Crusoe Industries’ Acumatica (ERP) system.
  • Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices and relevant regulations.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing CapEx budgets in excess of $100 million.
  • Professional certification such as CPM, CSCP, or CPIM.
  • Experience with AI/data center infrastructure supply chains.
  • Experience with Excel/Spreadsheet Data Modeling and Dashboarding.
  • Proficiency in utilizing AI tools to increase personal productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and consistently aligned with company objectives.
  • Manage the entire supply chain process, overseeing everything from raw material sourcing through to final product delivery.
  • Negotiate and execute contracts and terms with key suppliers and vendors to secure the most advantageous terms and conditions for Crusoe.
  • Analyze and optimize all logistical operations to ensure a seamless flow of goods and reduce overall operational costs.
  • Evaluate and actively manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring they consistently meet our stringent quality standards and critical delivery deadlines.
  • Oversee the inventory management process, implementing strategic solutions to mitigate stock shortages and reduce excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk management for all supply contracts and agreements, including proactive contingency planning to ensure business continuity.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate activities with internal and external stakeholders to accurately forecast demand and ensure perfect supply alignment.
  • Implement and champion sustainability practices in procurement and supply chain operations, ensuring alignment with Crusoe Energy's environmental goals.
  • Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and supply chain innovations to maintain Crusoe Energy's competitive edge.
