About The Position

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. This includes supporting all AWS data centers and the associated servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. The role involves working on challenging supply chain problems with thousands of variables. The successful candidate will join a diverse team and partner with people across AWS to ensure high standards for safety and security while providing capacity at the lowest possible cost. The AWS Infrastructure Supply Chain & Procurement (ISCaP) organization focuses on delivering cutting-edge solutions for socially responsible data center supply chains. The role requires a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, high attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical capabilities, program management experience, comfort with data, strong writing skills, and the ability to lead executive-level reviews are essential. The ideal candidate will actively participate, possess strong curiosity, understand the business end-to-end, and use data to influence decision-makers.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of related industry experience
  • 2+ years of program, project or product management, or leading product implementation experience
  • 8+ years of data analysis using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies
  • Experience in negotiations with global suppliers with a proven track record in cost reduction
  • Experience in procurement practices working with engineering, supply chain and Tier 1 OEM partners
  • Experience practicing best-in-class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, or equivalent)

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the supply commit for an assigned AWS service, serving as the single source of truth for supply availability and supportability against the S&OP demand plan.
  • Confirm supply is positioned at the right place and right time, proactively identifying gaps and driving cross-functional actions to resolve them with urgency.
  • Hold internal and external teams accountable to supply commitments while continuously working to improve commits to meet or exceed demand requirements.
  • Translate supply availability data into clear, actionable schedules, priorities, and status updates communicated to multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with service teams to deeply understand demand requirements and ensure supply chain strategies are aligned to service-level needs.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable analytical tools, dashboards, and metrics that drive key decisions and resource prioritization.
  • Serve as a key member of the AWS Infrastructure supply chain team in helping to define and deliver complex supply chain strategies.
  • Produce written recommendations and insights for key stakeholders to help shape solution design.
  • Handle multiple projects at once, deal with ambiguity, and manage rapidly-changing priorities.
