About The Position

Supports the development, implementation, and execution of Category sourcing strategies for assigned commodities to achieve broad-based business objectives, with support from the Category Lead. The role includes supplier and contract management, data analytics, RFQs, and contract negotiations. It supports Joint Value Creation partners focused on mutual revenue growth, early access to innovation, and margin optimization. The position works across the Supply Chain to drive cost improvement, quality, and supply continuity through supplier management, identification of synergies, and negotiations. The role develops, advocates for, and implements sourcing strategies for assigned commodities, working with internal departments such as R&D, Packaging, and Marketing to ensure Procurement commitments meet business requirements. It leads cross-supplier negotiations and global supplier relationships, maintains knowledge of industry best practices and technology trends, develops supply continuity plans, leads the budget process across Brands for assigned commodities, and delivers sustainability transformation efforts. It also partners with internal stakeholders on global regulatory compliance and environmental best practices. For the rigid plastics packaging portfolio, the role supports pricing methodologies with converters; planning strategies that balance order quantities and cost, including regular MOQ reviews; adoption of molding, decoration, and supply technologies that may improve lead times, run sizes, supply security, and late-stage differentiation; practical and transformational plastic sustainability solutions; and network design and sourcing strategies that account for total cost, lead time, and supply-base capabilities, competitiveness, and location.
