About The Position

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Global Services Data & Business Analyst to join their Business Intelligence & Operations team. This role involves solving complex business problems through quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and the development of high-impact metrics and dashboards. The position is hybrid and requires partnering with global teams to define requirements, establish KPIs, and manage project milestones. The analyst will be responsible for end-to-end BI development, including designing and maintaining advanced Tableau dashboards, owning the data lifecycle with rigorous validation and reporting automation, and integrating AI/Machine Learning outputs for predictive forecasting and anomaly detection. Strategic communication skills are essential to distill technical concepts into clear recommendations for data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on professional experience building automated data workflows, ETL pipelines, and reporting solutions.
3+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and publishing advanced dashboards in Tableau (Desktop and Server) that drive business decisions.
3+ years of professional experience writing, debugging, and optimizing complex SQL queries (including CTEs, window functions, and multi-table joins) across SQL Server, MySQL, or cloud-based data warehouses like AWS.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of Data or Business Analyst experience.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Python, Alteryx, or SQL for process innovation and automation.
Experience integrating AI/Machine Learning outputs into BI workflows.

Responsibilities

Partner with global teams to define requirements, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), and manage project milestones from inception to delivery.
Design and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and visualizations that translate complex data into actionable insights for executive leadership.
Own the data lifecycle by establishing "sources of truth," performing rigorous validation, and ensuring high standards of data accuracy and reporting automation.
Use Python, Alteryx, or SQL to automate manual reporting workflows and increase data velocity.
Integrate AI/Machine Learning outputs into BI workflows to provide predictive forecasting and anomaly detection.
Distill intricate technical concepts into clear recommendations to influence cross-functional stakeholders and support data-driven decision-making.
