About The Position

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Global Services Data & Business Analyst to join our Business Intelligence & Operations team. This role involves solving complex business problems through quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and the development of high-impact metrics and dashboards. The team provides strategy and analytics guidance to support the SVP, Global Services with business analysis, data modeling, and recommendations on key decisions, working cross-functionally with various internal stakeholders on high-profile projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on professional experience building automated data workflows, ETL pipelines, and reporting solutions.
• 3+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and publishing advanced dashboards in Tableau (Desktop and Server) that drive business decisions.
• 3+ years of professional experience writing, debugging, and optimizing complex SQL queries (including CTEs, window functions, and multi-table joins) across SQL Server, MySQL, or cloud-based data warehouses like AWS.
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of Data or Business Analyst experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Python, Alteryx, or SQL for process innovation.
• Experience integrating AI/Machine Learning outputs into BI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Partner with global teams to define requirements, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), and manage project milestones from inception to delivery.
• Design and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and visualizations that translate complex data into actionable insights for executive leadership.
• Own the data lifecycle by establishing "sources of truth," performing rigorous validation, and ensuring high standards of data accuracy and reporting automation.
• Use Python, Alteryx, or SQL to automate manual reporting workflows and increase data velocity.
• Integrate AI/Machine Learning outputs into BI workflows to provide predictive forecasting and anomaly detection.
• Distill intricate technical concepts into clear recommendations to influence cross-functional stakeholders and support data-driven decision-making.
