About The Position

Allied Universal® is hiring a Global Security Operations Center Manager (GSOC). The GSOC Manager will oversee GSOC personnel and operations. The GSOC Manager will use their knowledge of GSOC operations, systems, intelligence gathering and analysis, and business to ensure the GSOC adapts to changing business needs while mitigating risk to the company, its employees, and assets across the globe.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Emergency Management, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field of study
  • Associate's degree in criminal justice, Emergency Management, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field with a minimum of five (5) years of Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a corporate security environment and the security industry
  • Minimum of three (3) years of Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) experience with a focus on intelligence assessments, brand protection, travel security
  • Previous experience working with Everbridge Suite, Dataminr, NC4, or other similar AI-based platforms for risk management
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of best-in-class security processes and practices
  • Effective oral and written interpersonal communication skills, including consulting, team building, and collaboration throughout all levels of the organization
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products and the ability to work with complex platforms.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in alarm monitoring, access control, video management, and crisis communication technology
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced organization; coordinate and manage multiple tasks with limited supervision
  • Ability to make decisions, multi-task, and operate within high-stress situations, often under time constraints
  • Working knowledge of current global events and the global sociopolitical landscape
  • Ability to analyze and think critically, sometimes under ambiguous circumstances
  • Self-motivated, highly responsive, and proactive, able to own tasks from start to finish with little to no supervision

Responsibilities

  • Operational oversight for the GSOC program and partner with client leadership on overall program management
  • Assist with developing, implementing, administering, monitoring, and improving GSOC training, work instructions, and protocols
  • Develop and update operating procedures and guidance documents
  • Selection and placement of Analysts; professional development, implement positive as well as disciplinary action as appropriate; develop and implement performance improvement plans
  • Supervise the maintenance of a GSOC knowledge management tool to ensure work resources remain accurate and readily available for Operators
  • Act as the first-line supervisor in the GSOC, providing leadership, supervision, and oversight over all operations
  • Assist with the daily schedule for GSOC personnel, Coordinate coverage for team absences
  • Responsible for quality control of all GSOC products and reports
  • Maintain situational awareness of events that may compromise the safety and security of personnel, business operations, and infrastructure for client locations globally; escalate to client stakeholders as necessary
  • Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews; provide expert-level recommendations regarding staffing levels and requirements as they relate to business costs and company profit margins
  • Receive, evaluate, and disseminate information and reports from security personnel, managers, suppliers, reporting parties, etc.
  • Support and mentor junior personnel to enhance proficiency with company resources, processes, and procedures
  • Draft and send emergency mass notifications and other crisis communications
  • Create concise, factual reports for distribution to client representatives, company management, and external stakeholders
  • Support the travel security program by monitoring associate travel and be prepared to account for them during events of concern or elevated risk
  • Partner with internal security, facilities, real estate, enterprise resiliency, and business continuity teams during business-impacting incidents or events
  • Receive, evaluate, and disseminate incoming information and reports from company security personnel, security officers in the field, company employees, suppliers, reporting parties, and local agencies
  • Develop concise, fact-based incident reports for distribution to various partners
  • Represent the company in handling employee or customer complaints, implement resolution to employee grievances or performance deficiencies
