Global Security Lead

Neko Health•New York, NY

About The Position

Mission Neko is redefining prevention by making data-driven, preventative care accessible before symptoms appear. In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, its proprietary technology and direct clinical care provide personalised, actionable insights. The Global Security Lead owns the physical security of every Neko site, from initial design through daily operations, across current and planned markets. This is a build role: the Lead will establish global standards, KPIs, business goals, checks, and processes to support the opening of hundreds of locations while adapting to local legislation and needs. The role owns day-to-day security management, selects and implements systems that can operate at scale, and ensures members and staff have a safe and secure environment as Neko expands globally. The role will establish repeatable security processes for clinic openings; define standards for access control, CCTV, guarding, visitor management, and incident reporting; build risk management and business continuity practices; oversee vendors and guarding partners; and report on security performance to the COO. It will also coordinate physical security with Information Security and Privacy, work with construction, real estate, operations, HR, and legal teams, and develop a security operating model and hiring plan.

  • Own day-to-day security management to maintain a safe and secure environment for members and staff.
  • Set service standards for guards and front-of-house teams interacting with members and visitors.
  • Create incident and escalation processes, out-of-hours coverage, and emergency and crisis response plans; test plans through drills.
  • Establish processes to investigate incidents involving members, staff, vendors, and partners, working with HR and legal.
  • Select, contract, and manage security vendors and guarding partners in each market, with shared service levels and a clear budget.
  • Provide ongoing reporting to the COO on incidents, near misses, cost per site, and open risks.
  • Select and implement systems used to manage security globally.
