The Vertex Global Record to Report Co-op is a six-month experiential training program for students pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. The co-op supports the Record-to-Report (RTR) function within the Chief Accounting Organization, which is part of the Chief Financial Officer organization and is responsible for accurate, timely financial reporting and critical accounting and close processes. RTR works to standardize, simplify, automate, and strengthen controls across the financial reporting lifecycle. The co-op will support the RTR Strategy & Optimization team’s transformation initiatives, with hands-on exposure to finance transformation, project execution, and continuous improvement. The program runs January through July 2027. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, and paid at $20.00–$32.00 per hour. It is a temporary role through a third-party agency partner; the selected candidate will be employed by that agency, which will provide compensation, benefits, and other employment terms. The role is hybrid in Boston, with three days per week onsite and ad hoc flexibility. Stakeholder interactions will largely be with colleagues in Boston or with international colleagues virtually. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future; Vertex does not provide sponsorship for internships, co-ops, or entry-level roles in this part of the organization. Candidates graduating before May 2027 must be enrolled in an advanced degree program.
