About The Position

International Justice Mission (IJM) is seeking a Global Programs Intern for the 2027 Spring Internship class. The intern will support either the Global Programs division, South Asia region, or Asia Pacific region, which provide leadership, direction, and services on measurement and program management to colleagues and partners to protect people in poverty from violence. The Global Programs Intern will support executive leaders driving the key initiatives of the division and ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This position can be fully in-person or hybrid (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays) in the Washington, DC area or remote for non-local candidates. The position requires 20-40 hours per week. Interns receive a monthly stipend to help defray expenses, which is not an hourly wage. Spring internship program dates are January 11 – April 9, 2027. Application Deadline: September 25, 2026.

Requirements

  • Completed at least two years of undergraduate study by the start of their internship
  • At least one prior professional internship experience or significant leadership experience in extracurricular, campus, volunteer, or community-based organizations
  • Ability to commit to a schedule consistent with the required time commitment (20, 30, or 40 hours per week during standard business hours)
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite
  • Experience in intranet site management and resource development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
