About The Position
Dean Dorton has built an internship program that helps interns build the experience they want. The program believes that exploring passions early will give interns the tools to achieve their professional goals. Interns gain real-world experience by building and expanding on classroom education, preparing individual and business tax returns, participating in tax, accounting, and software training, and receiving mentoring from Tax Managers and Directors to learn best practices and workplace skills.
Requirements
- Junior or Senior enrolled in an accounting or business program at an accredited University or College
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Building and expanding on your classroom education
- Preparing individual and business tax returns
- Participating in tax, accounting, and software training
- Mentoring with Tax Managers and Directors to learn best practices and workplace skills
