About The Position

This position works out of Abbott’s Lake Forest, IL office within the Informatics Division of Abbott Rapid Diagnostics. Abbott empowers smarter medical and economic decision‑making. More than 10 million tests are run daily on Abbott diagnostics instruments worldwide. As a Global Product Manager, the role bridges customer needs with innovative solutions that enhance client and patient experiences. Responsibilities include leading product strategy, roadmap planning, execution, and stakeholder management for next‑generation software products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 10 years of experience in Marketing, material development, storytelling, working with agencies, creating reporting and tracking.
  • Tactical Plan and multichannel marketing experience.
  • Understanding of PPC, Google Analytics, SEO.
  • Reporting and copywriting expertise.
  • Proven success managing IT/software products end‑to‑end
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and gather customer feedback
  • Benchmark best‑in‑class competitors and emerging technologies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and understand Voice of the Customer
  • Support Product Manager with internal and external discovery sessions
  • Oversee product GTM activities in partnership with Product Manager
  • Support Intranet and Website content management
  • Lead the development of partner and distributor-focused marketing
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in industry events and speaking engagements
  • Partner with US and Strategic Marketing and Sales on training materials, sales tools and campaign development
  • Define KPIs and success metrics
  • Analyze data and user feedback to evaluate performance
  • Identify improvement opportunities
  • Prepare regular performance reports and executive presentations
  • Complies with regulatory requirements, company policies, and operating procedures
  • Maintains positive and cooperative communication with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors
