About The Position

As Bioprocessing and Purification Technologies (BPT) Global Planning and Logistics Senior Director, you will spearhead end-to-end global supply chain planning and logistics strategy, ensuring seamless synchronization between production, inventory and international distribution.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree
10+ years of Logistics and Planning experience
Strong people leadership experience
Background in chemistry or chemical supply chain

Nice To Haves

Experience in resin or specialty chemical supply chains strongly preferred
SAP Experience
Expertise in Logistics automation solutions a benefit
TPM and/or Six Sigma black belt experience

Responsibilities

Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning which is highly global driven
Optimize global inventory levels to balance working capital targets with high customer service level requirements.
Develop long-term demand and supply models that account for market volatility and chemical industry-specific lead times.
Oversee a complex global logistics network, including ocean freight, bulk liquid transport, rail, and specialized chemical warehousing.
Manage relationships with 3PL/4PL providers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure compliance with international trade regulations (Incoterms, REACH, etc.).
Drive cost-optimization initiatives within the transportation network without compromising safety or delivery timelines.
Champion the adoption of advanced supply chain technologies (e.g., ERP enhancements, TMS, and AI-driven forecasting tools).
Establish and monitor Global KPIs such as Perfect Order Fulfillment, Freight as a % of Sales, and Inventory Turnover.
Mitigate global supply chain disruptions through robust contingency planning and real-time risk assessment.
Ensure all logistics activities adhere to strict HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and hazardous material regulations (IMDG, ADR, IATA).
