About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking talent to join the 2027 Global Payments & Liquidity Internship. This 10-week program is focused on gaining experience and exposure to Global Payments & Liquidity, a market-leading provider of working capital solutions serving clients of all sizes. The program will promote professional development and business skills growth through on-the-job experience, formal training, and exposure to senior leaders. Interns will immerse themselves in business areas to acquire diverse experiences and insights, potentially being placed in sales or product roles. Activities may include participating in the sourcing, structuring, underwriting, and execution of transactions, conducting due diligence, analyzing financial statements, leveraging market research, and working with teams on compliance and risk management. Interns can be placed in Sales or Product. The Sales internship offers experience supporting sales teams in client-facing roles, learning the end-to-end sales process. The Product Management role involves owning payment and liquidity products, including P&L, growth strategy, and risk management, as well as new product design and partnership with Sales.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the sourcing, structuring, underwriting, and execution of payments & liquidity transactions as an active member of a deal team
  • Conduct due diligence and analyze financial statements that support payments & liquidity recommendations
  • Leverage market, industry, and company research and analysis along with product knowledge to ensure the success of business development efforts
  • Work with teams on a variety of tasks, including compliance and risk management responsibilities
  • Provide information to colleagues and managers in support of completion of deliverables, resolution of issues, and help deliver business initiatives, communications, and other materials to internal stakeholders and clients
  • Support sales teams in developing skills essential for future success in client-facing roles (Sales placement)
  • Learn the end-to-end sales process, including portfolio management, proposal development/delivery, and collaboration with internal partners (Sales placement)
  • Analyze P&L, design new products, address risk and regulatory needs, and partner with Sales to drive growth and profitability (Product placement)
