About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking talent to join the 2027 Global Payments & Liquidity Internship. This is a 10-week program focused on gaining experience and exposure to Global Payments & Liquidity, a market-leading provider of working capital solutions serving clients of all sizes. The program will promote professional development and business skills growth through on-the-job experience, formal training, and exposure to senior leaders. Interns will immerse themselves in business areas to acquire diverse experiences and insights, potentially being placed in sales or product roles. Activities may include participating in transactions, conducting due diligence, analyzing financial statements, leveraging research and product knowledge, and assisting with compliance and risk management. The internship is designed to help interns identify a post-internship career track that aligns with their long-term goals and interests.

Requirements

6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date between December 2027 or May/June 2028.

Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills.
Demonstrated knowledge, interest and/or experience in finance, accounting, and sales.
Strong critical thinking and data insight skills, with the ability to understand customer needs, support customer strategy, learn quickly, adapt to change, and contribute to innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

Participate in the sourcing, structuring, underwriting, and execution of payments & liquidity transactions as an active member of a deal team.
Conduct due diligence and analyze financial statements that support payments & liquidity recommendations.
Leverage market, industry, and company research and analysis along with product knowledge to ensure the success of business development efforts.
Work with teams on a variety of tasks, including compliance and risk management responsibilities.
Provide information to colleagues and managers in support of completion of deliverables, resolution of issues, and help deliver business initiatives, communications, and other materials to internal stakeholders and clients.
Support sales teams in developing skills essential for future success in client-facing roles (Sales placement).
Learn the end-to-end sales process, including portfolio management, proposal development/delivery, and collaboration with internal partners (Sales placement).
Perform P&L analysis, new product design/requirements, addressing risk and regulatory needs, and partnership with Sales to drive growth and profitability (Product placement).
