About The Position

The global Human Resource (HR) Function provides an integrated talent management system that delivers a workforce that is Corning's competitive differentiator in the global marketplace. HR provides service offerings that align solutions to business challenges by ensuring the programs are Effective, Efficient, Global, Scaleable, and Repeatable. Corning’s Values are operationalized by the HR Function through the facilitation of Talent Management offerings, as well as programs and processes that aid in making Corning’s Values visible. The position is responsible for the first-level administration of Corning’s mobility programs, including international and US domestic relocations. This role provides direct support to Global Mobility leadership in delivering Corning’s complex mobility needs, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and a high level of service for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • 1+ years relevant experience
  • Strong customer service skills with a desire to improve customer experience
  • Superior communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to exercise discretion
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Process oriented with a strong attention to detail and follow through
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for Global Mobility operations and ensure timely, effective response to employee, vendor, and stakeholder inquiries.
  • Oversee key Global Mobility authorization processes.
  • Manage and maintain Global Mobility records.
  • Support the exception process by providing approval, analyses and/or recommendations within established guidelines.
  • Support the tax equalization process by coordinating with external partners and serving as a central liaison for collection and payment activities.
  • Oversee year-end Global Mobility reporting in partnership with external vendors, payroll, and finance teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion.
  • Administer the Remote Worker Guidelines program by reviewing requests and ensuring alignment with established policies and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee the Global Mobility purchase order and invoicing process for all vendors.
  • Contribute to Global Mobility projects and initiatives focused on enhancing relocation programs and streamlining processes.
  • Manage the distribution of Global Mobility data and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in Global Mobility and relocation programs, ensuring strong operational knowledge and effective program support.
  • Develop, update, and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures to promote consistency, efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Provide broad administrative and operational support to ensure the effective delivery of all Global Mobility services.
