The Global Medical Affairs Director, Oncology (Multiple Myeloma) role provides strategic global medical affairs leadership for an assigned oncology asset or portfolio. The role holder will set and deliver the long-term disease and medicine strategy, lead integrated global medical plans, and shape external clinical practice to help GSK get Ahead of Disease Together and positively impact patient and population health outcomes in oncology. They will operate in a complex matrix, partnering closely with commercial, clinical development, value & evidence, and country medical teams to drive launch and lifecycle success for oncology assets. The role is within a team reporting to the Vice President, Global Medical Lead (GML) for the specific asset/portfolio. Strategic accountability for all activities aligned to the asset strategy sits with the GML, with implementation and leadership of designated projects led by the Global Medical Affairs Director.
